Due ex-studenti di storia medievale dell'università di Manchester
headliners dell'Isle of MTV festival? Niente di strano se si chiamano
Tom Rowlands e Ed Simons, in arte Chemical Brothers.
Il duo inglese inizia a produrre musica nei primi anni '90 sfruttando computer
e campionatori con il nome Dust Brothers. Riescono a farsi
apprezzare anche per i remix di celebri brani di Manic Street
Preachers, The Charlatans, Primal Scream e The
Prodigy.
Solo nel 1995 pubblicano il loro primo album, Exit Planet Dust con il
nome Chemical Brothers. Da allora, per 10 anni hanno alternato uscite
discografiche, concerti dal vivo e attività da DJ.
